The front

The marine models with Arabic numerals only came towards the end of the epoch. After the First World War, the German watch manufacturers in particular increasingly built their marine models with Arabic numerals instead of the usual Roman numerals. The dial of the Tourby Marine Arabic is made of genuine 925/000 sterling silver from one of the most renowned dial manufacturers in Germany. The high-quality dial is galvano-black lacquered. Until 1930, the Marine models were built exclusively with pear hands ("Poires"), from 1930 the leaf hands ("Feuille") of the Art Deco models were also used, as these appealed more to customers. The manufactured case is extra flat and has rounded lugs. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal is curved at the edge and is reminiscent of the crystals of old pocket watches. The strap is made of real horse leather or alligator and rounds off the high-quality design of this watch. The onion crown is ideally constructed for everyday use. It has a good grip and is not sharp-edged, but also not oversized so as not to impair wearing comfort.

The case back

You can admire the finely decorated Swiss hand-wound movement on the case back through the sapphire crystal. The solid Unitas raw movement is elaborately finished and upgraded in our factory. The top grade version is particularly beautiful with skeletonization, perlage, snail cut, double Glashütte sunburst and blued swan neck fine adjustment.

Sporty and elegant

Classic timepieces with black dials have the advantage of being both, sporty and elegant. They are therefore suitable for almost any clothing.

Live-Pictures

Even if it looks less professional on a official website, you can only see the quality of the watches from live-pictures. All watches look great on official product images. Even the cheap ones. But in order to get an accurate feeling of the watches, you have to hold them in your hand. These often have a completely different effect. However, since our customers mostly order online and cannot view the watches beforehand, our pictures must be as authentic as possible.

The Basic Movement

The Base movements comes free of extra charge. Choose your favorite.

The black version is sand blasted and has a skeletonized balance bridge and skeletonized winding wheels.

Rhodium

The Top Grade Movement

The Top Grade movement is only available at an additional cost (+ 800 euros).

Top Grade

The basis for our Top Grade movement is the Swiss ETA Unitas 6498-2. The ebauche is completely finely finished in our manufactory with skeletonization, snail grinding, perlage, bevelled edges, blued screws, double sunburst wheels and a blued swan-neck fine adjustment. The movement is also technically upgraded with a longer power reserve and a Glucydur chronometer balance.

Rhodium Plated

The Top Grade movement is rhodium-plated. Rhodium has a special shine and its beauty can hardly be surpassed.

Hand Engraved

For an additional charge (+ 1,500.00 Euros), we can engrave the movement completely or only partially by hand, just as you wish.
