The dial
Since lapis lazuli is a natural gemstone, each dial is unique and always looks different. If you wish, we can send you pictures of the different dials and you can choose your favorite for your
personal Tourby watch. We can also remove the print on the dial if you prefer the watch to be very discreet.
The front
The manufactured watch case has a large face but a small bezel. So it looks big on wrist but is very comfortable because of short lugs and thinn watch case.
The case back
You can view the finely decorated Swiss hand-wound movement on the back through the sapphire glass bottom. The simple Unitas raw movement is elaborately finished and upgraded in our
manufactory.
The 40 mm Model
Gemstone Lapis
Lapis, also called lapis lazuli (Latin) and glaze stone, is a naturally occurring, deep blue metamorphic rock that, depending on where it was found, consists of different proportions of the minerals lazurite, pyrite, calcite as well as smaller admixtures of diopside, sodalite and others.
The movement
Our Top Grade movement is based on the ETA Unitas 6498-2, but is completely hand-finished in our factory and redesigned into a unique movement. It has 17 Jewels, work with 21.600 A/h beat and has 60 hours power reserve.
The watch case
Our watch case is based on years of experience and direct exchange with our customers. This was the only way we could create a unique construction that fits perfectly on the wrist. We made the watch as flat as possible, shortened and rounded the horns, and presented the bezel as a slim silhouette.
The watch hands
The so-called "Feuille" hands have been used for over 200 years and are one of the most elegant ways to tell the time. Our hands are made of real steel and are then rhodium-plated to give them a
special shine.
The print
We deliberately chose a very subtle print on the dial so that the design of the dial does not disturb and distract from its beauty. However, if you wish, we can remove the print completely.
The blue accents
If you like blue, we can also add more blue accents to the movement by skeletonizing the winding wheels and hand flame blueing them. We can also blue the swan-neck fine adjustment by hand on the flame.
Live Pictures 43 mm model
Even if it looks less professional on a official website, you can only see the quality of the watches from live-pictures. All watches look great on official product images. Even the cheap ones. But in order to get an accurate feeling of the watches, you have to hold them in your hand. These often have a completely different effect. However, since our customers mostly order online and cannot view the watches beforehand, our pictures must be as authentic as possible.
The Movement
Top Grade
The basis for our Top Grade movement is the Swiss ETA Unitas 6498-2. The ebauche is completely finely finished in our manufactory with skeletonization, snail grinding, perlage, bevelled edges, blued screws, double sunburst wheels and a blued swan-neck fine adjustment. The movement is also technically upgraded with a longer power reserve and a Glucydur chronometer balance.
Rhodium Plated
The rhodium-plated version is available at no extra charge. Rhodium has a special shine and its beauty can hardly be surpassed.
Gold Plated
We can offer the movement in different colors for an additional charge. The movement is gold-plated in yellow or rose gold. We can temperature blue and skeletonize the winding wheels as a contrast.
Hand Engraved
For an additional charge, we can engrave the movement completely or only partially by hand, just as you wish.
