Our collection includes almost all eras of watchmaking and are focused on the flowering periods beginning of the 20th century. Therefore, many of our dials are inspired by old pocket watches, table clocks, board watches, aviation watches or marine watches. Each of our watches has a historical precedent.
The historic design is carried over in exceptional quality watch cases, the only exeption with this philosophy is our line of modern dive watches. Each Tourby wristwatch is simple in design and therefore timeless. We dont follow trends and only build watches with designs that have survived decades or even centuries.
On the underside is the movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Here is where we let our creative streak run wild. Therefore, our movements are among the most beautiful in the world and are to hard to excel in terms of craftsmanship. We believe it is important to accomplish this horological work in our own workshops, from creating the Glashütte sun burst to screwed gold chatons or hand engraving almost a collector could wish for. Our hand-engraving skills are in such demand that we provide this for other prestigious watch brands.
Although a chronograph has not yet been added to our collection, there is one in the works. Our Philosophy is to build timeless mechanical masterpieces. We have set ourselves the goal of using only mechanical movements made in Switzerland. Battery powered movements will never be something that we would consider. All our timepieces are designed with comfort during longer wear in mind. We use only the most durable metals and crystals inour cases and for our wristbands only the best leathers will be used, handmade in Germany. In each Tourby wristwatch is real craftsmanship, from Westphalia to the world.
