The Small Pilot Automatic Gradient 37

Tradition for the narrower wrist

Pilot's watches are extremely popular and are part of the portfolio of every good watch brand. Since pilot's watches used to be 55 mm in size and were usually worn over leather jackets, they are still built somewhat larger than regular watches today. Most pilot's watches are between 42 and 46 mm in size. However, this is unwearable for many enthusiasts of these watches, as many people have narrow wrists. This is precisely where the new model comes in, bringing this traditional design to narrow wrists.

The front

If you look at old pilot's watches from World War II today, you'll notice clear signs of aging. The black dial has lost its color due to sunlight. The dial often becomes brownish toward the center. Many watch collectors find these watches very beautiful, but no one wants to wear such an old watch on their wrist, assuming it's even still working. That's why we created this model. A watch with the look of old watches, but new and fully functional.

The case back

You can view the Swiss automatic movement through the sapphire glass case back. For these models, we use the latest movements from the Swiss manufacturer La-Joux-Perret. This movement is a new alternative to the well-known ETA movements, but with the decisive advantage of a 68-hour power reserve. This movement thus has twice the power reserve of its renowned predecessor. We also use a particularly highly finished version of this LPJ movement with rhodium-plating, finely decorated with perlage and blued screws. The movements are finely adjusted in five positions and run very precisely with an accuracy of -2/+8 seconds per day (measured after the watch was cased). These rate values correspond to the chronometer standard.

The Movement

Swiss Made La-Joux-Perret G-101

The LJP G-101 is a very modern Swiss watch movement. Originally built as an alternative to the ETA 2824-2, it is currently conquering the watch market. It is not a simple ETA copy, but a completely independent movement with the advantage of a 68-hour power reserve. This gives it almost twice the power reserve of the ETA movement. Of course, in keeping with our own tradition, we use a particularly beautifully decorated version of the movement.
