The Lawless diver's watch is becoming a real classic. Due to the high demand, we now also offer the watch with a smaller diameter. We immediately used that to improve the Lawless again. The new bezel now has screws for easy service. The bezel inlay is made of sapphire and all digits and lines glow in the dark. The steel bracelet is even better integrated into the case, and the engraving on the back is not as deep.

OUR BEST SELLER

The insider tip among diving watches

Our Lawless diver's watch has developed from an insider tip to a real alternative in recent years. In the meantime, this model enjoys a certain level of awareness on the market and, above all, has a high recognition value due to the very individual design of the dial and hands.

Details

The bezel

We use the new bezel system with screws for the Lawless 40. In the past there were always problems with later repairs, since most bezels could no longer be pried off. With the new system, it's easy. This means that we can continue to repair or replace the bezels in the future if necessary.

The finish

The watch case and bracelet are hand-finished in our own factory. This creates a unique finish that is unparalleled in this price range. Since we finish the case ourselves and only build the watches after the order has been placed, we can take your wishes into account. This means that if, for example, you prefer the matte finish of the black version to the blue version, then we will do it for you. Otherwise, the blue variant comes with a matt-polished finish.

The clasp

The steel bracelet is equipped with an adjustable folding clasp. Actually designed for divers so that the watch can be worn over the diving suit, the clasp also proves to be very functional in everyday use. You can use the clasp to enlarge or reduce the watch without having to take it off your arm.

The case back

Like the original Lawless from 2009, the new 40 model has the engraving of Neptune on the back. Neptune is the Roman god of the seas (not to be confused with the Greek Poseidon).

The dial

The dials of the Lawless diver's watch line are something very special. They are made in a well-known German dial manufacturer exclusively for Tourby Watches. The hour markers are applied. These so-called "appliquès" are varnished by hand and then placed on the dial. The holes for the feet of the appliqués are set up on the sheet beforehand. This work requires a lot of care and time. Therefore, such dials are much more expensive than simple, printed dials. The surface of the dial says a lot about its quality. Tourby uses the "galvano" finish for the black dials. This finish is matt and has a very fine grain. The blue dials are even more elaborate, as they have a "sunburst" that spreads from the center of the dial to the edge. This creates beautiful light effects, where the sheet becomes lighter or darker in some places if you turn the sheet back and forth.

The bezel-inlay

The bezels of the Lawless line are also very special. The teeth are very fine and make them look very elegant. Inside is a ratchet system with 120 notches, which makes turning the bezel much easier and smoother. The bezel inlays are made of real sapphire glass. They look very elegant and have the advantage that the numbers and lines glow in the dark. This only works with sapphire glass bezels, because the luminous material is attached to the back of the glass in a mirror-inverted manner. Tourby is probably the only watch company that doesn't glue the bezels on until after the watches are assembled themselves. Normally, the bezel inserts are glued on by the case manufacturer directly after production. So you get the case delivered complete with bezel. Unfortunately, you can't be sure that the bezels are exactly straight to the dial. You can only see this when the complete watch is assembled. Therefore, unfortunately, it often happens that the triangle on the bezel does not sit linearly with the dial. Tourby only glues the bezel inlays in after the watch is finished. So you can fix the bezels all linear to the dial.

The Red Edition

In the RED EDITION, the triangle on the bezel is painted red by hand, as is the tip of the second hand. This upgrade costs + 200 euros extra, but gives your watch that special touch.

Rubber strap

Off to the water

We also offer a very high-quality rubber strap for this model (+ 50.00 euros). Optionally with a pin buckle (+ 25.00 euros) or folding clasp (+ 75.00 euros)
