The front

The high-quality dial features a galvanic black finish. The high-quality hands are black-rhodium plated and are perfectly legible, even in the dark, thanks to their SuperLumi-Nova luminescence.

The three totalizers are deliberately placed in this position. The permanent second is at 9 o'clock. The stop minute is at 3 o'clock. The stop hour is at 6 o'clock. The stop second is centrally positioned. The date display is at the bottom of the dial. The inner ring is the stop second scale. The outer ring of the dial shows the tachymeter scale.

The case back

The sapphire crystal case back gives a clear view of the Swiss precision movement. The movement, based on the Valjoux 7753, comes in the highest quality with a Glucydur chronometer balance. The movement is finely decorated and has our in-house rotor.

Why a Tourby chronograph is something special

The new Sport Chrono from Tourby is special in many ways on the watch market. On the one hand, it is a rare timepiece from a small independent watch manufacturer, with only 25 timepieces produced. On the other hand, it is the perfect embodiment of a chronograph.

The arrangement of the three subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock is undoubtedly the most elegant form of any chronograph. The slightly larger subdial at 6 o'clock not only gives the watch a friendly appearance, but also allows for perfect date placement. The scales and displays are perfectly legible. The buttons are easy to use and well-placed for timing. The notched bezel gives the watch a distinctive silhouette. The screw-down crown protects the watch not only from water, but also from dust.

The Chronograph Movement

Why we choose this movement

The Valjoux 7753 combines the best of both eras. On the one hand, it's a continuously improved movement, updated by ETA, while on the other, it retains the charm of classic chronographs. It's the only chronograph movement still in production today that features a quick-set date function via a hidden pusher at 10 o'clock. It also retains the subdial arrangement at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. We've further refined this movement, of course. We've moved the date display from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock, so it doesn't appear awkwardly squeezed in. Furthermore, our movement features a Glucydur chronometer balance wheel, which is not only exceptionally precise but also more resistant to temperature fluctuations. The Incabloc shock protection system prevents the balance staff from breaking in the event of a severe impact. In addition to beautiful finishing and decorations, we've also fitted our movement with a specially developed rotor. The skeletonized and engraved rotor perfectly complements the overall design.

Wrist check

We deliberately chose a diameter of 40 mm. On the one hand, this size is wearable by everyone, and on the other hand, it gives the watch a balanced appearance. Chronographs with smaller diameters have the disadvantage of appearing very bulky due to their thickness. Chronographs with very large diameters are usually too heavy and less comfortable to wear. The movement is encased in stainless steel, and the more material that needs to be encased, the heavier the watch becomes.

Clothing check

Thanks to its black and white color combination, this watch is easy to match with almost any outfit. Even brown tones complement it. The watch adapts to your clothing. It looks great with sporty clothes, but also perfectly with a dark suit.

You can only see the quality of the watches from live-pictures. All watches look great on official product images, even the cheap ones. But in order to get an accurate feeling of the watches, you have to hold them in your hand. These often have a completely different effect. However, since our customers mostly order online and cannot view the watches beforehand, our pictures must be as authentic as possible.
